Hi, I'm Julie! I'm an herbalist, writer, gardener, forager, and wildcrafter with a lifelong love of plants, trees, animals, and the wild places in between. I find endless inspiration in old gardens, hedgerows, well-worn recipes, handmade things, and the quiet turning of the seasons.

Don't be surprised to find me lost in thought, exploring, imagining, and wandering the meadows with my dogs meandering alongside. I'll probably come home with something foraged, something found, and some new treasure in my pocket.

Here at Hedgewoman, I share the things that bring me joy: growing and gathering, baking and making, tending the land, learning the lore of plants, and creating a cozy, useful life rooted in nature.
